Alaina Altenbernd O.D.

Alaina Altenbernd, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri St. Louis in 2022 and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same university in 2018. Dr. Altenbernd is native to the area and specializes in ocular disease and primary care. She followed in her father’s footsteps and became an optometrist to give people one of the best gifts, the gift of sight. Dr. Altenbernd says her favorite part of being an optometrist is being able to help people’s vision instantly with a new pair of glasses.
